Senior Tax Accountant - open to 1st movers or property/funds background

• $130-145k + super + 15% STI 
• Seeking Corporate Tax 1st mover or property/funds tax candidate

This role presents an excellent platform for career development as part of a finance team of 40+. This role is brand new due to growth - something hard to come by in this market.

Importantly, this role provides broad exposure across compliance and a range of advisory and projected based exposures;

• Support Australian and international tax matters, including income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax, Pillar Two, transfer pricing and hybrid arrangements
• Prepare and review tax compliance and reporting, including income tax returns, BAS, FBT returns, quarterly and annual tax reporting, tax forecasting and financial statement disclosures
• Assist with M&A transactions, tax due diligence, acquisitions, disposals, restructuring activities and related tax calculations and planning
• Provide proactive tax advice and business partnering to Finance, HR, Legal and Company Secretarial teams, while supporting ATO reviews, audits and external tax advisors
• Identify tax risks, recommend practical solutions, maintain technical tax expertise and support ad hoc tax advisory matters
• Drive process improvements through automation initiatives, systems support and provide guidance and mentoring to the Tax Admin

The successful candidate will be seeking their 1st or 2nd move from corporate tax within a top 30 CA practice. Or have relevant corporate tax experience from the property or funds sectors
