Business Analyst

Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of a significant organisational transformation initiative.

This role sits within a major process improvement program focused on enhancing systems, processes and data management across multiple business functions. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will analyse current and future state processes, gather and document requirements, support system enhancements, and contribute to successful implementation outcomes.

In this position, you will:

• Analyse and document current and future-state business processes across multiple workstreams.
• Gather, assess and document business, system and data requirements.
• Develop process maps, workflow diagrams and supporting documentation.
• Identify process improvements, system dependencies, risks and opportunities.
• Support system design, testing, implementation and defect resolution activities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements and solutions.
• Develop user guides, training materials and operational procedures.
• Contribute to implementation planning, change activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Criteria to be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering process improvement and systems transformation initiatives.
• Strong capability in business process mapping, workflow design and requirements gathering.
• Experience supporting system implementation, testing and change activities.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, dependencies and practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the development of process documentation, procedures and user guides.
• Advanced skills across Microsoft 365 and business systems environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in finance, procurement, contract management, CRM, event management or project management systems.
• Qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Exposure to platforms such as Salesforce, TechnologyOne, SharePoint or similar enterprise systems.
