Overview:

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring industrial machinery and all other plant equipment runs smoothly and reliably.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise plant facilities and technical maintenance hourly crews
• Responsible for planning maintenance projects including preventative maintenance
• Manage the maintenance budget
• Oversee the inventory/parts management of the facility’s storeroom
• Utilize systems to track maintenance key performance measures

Requirements:

• 4-year Engineering Degree or a 2-year degree with relevant experience
• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Previous electro-mechanical experience required
• Lean experience with Six Sigma preferred
• Firm understanding of continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
