GI Group Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our healthcare client for Healthcare Assistants in Dublin West.
We are currently recruiting for full-time and part-time Healthcare Assistant positions, providing care to an adult in their own home.
Location: Dublin West
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent
Hours: 20–48 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Sunday, including day shifts and weekend availability
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a supportive care team and provide high-quality care to a client in their own home. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in home care and with adults with complex care needs.
Pay & Benefits
- Attractive salary and employee benefits – up to €15.50 per hour for QQI qualified & experienced staff

Qualifications & Experience Required
Healthcare Assistants must have either:
- QQI approved Level 5 Care of the Older Person and Care Skills, or
- QQI approved Level 5 Healthcare Support
Candidates must also have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in home care and with adults with complex care needs.
Role of the Healthcare Assistant
The primary purpose of the Healthcare Assistant is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in their own home.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing the requirements of the client's care plan
- Performing identified care duties
- Promoting client comfort, dignity and wellbeing
- Providing compassionate and person-centred care
- Building a positive rapport with the client
The ideal Healthcare Assistant will demonstrate genuine compassion for others, along with kindness, empathy and patience. Good communication skills and the ability to build a strong rapport with clients are also essential.
