Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Commercial Support
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial advice and strategic insights that support performance and growth.
- Support the development of the overall Consumer Portfolio P&L view and provide input into Executive and Board reporting requirements.
- Deliver analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of revenue management reporting.
- Contribute to monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, half-year and year-end result preparation, executive scorecards, and Board reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights into key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide analysis of expense performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost management.
- Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including Pricing, Capital Modelling, Claims, Marketing, Digital, and Actuarial teams.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Strategy, Operations, and Business Leadership teams.
- Support benchmarking activities and provide insights into industry and competitor performance trends.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering capability development and high performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting processes, planning activities, and finance operations.
- Contribute to key finance transformation and change programs.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, innovation, and customer-focused outcomes.
You are a commercially astute finance professional with strong business partnering capabilities and a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders. You are equally comfortable working with detailed financial analysis and contributing to broader strategic discussions.
Skills & Experience
- CA/CPA/CIMA/CFA qualification is essential.
- Significant experience in a FP&A Manager or finance business partner role within a medium to large financial services organisation.
- Extensive experience supporting both operational and strategic business decision-making.
- Previous experience operating within a finance leadership team.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated success leading change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- General Insurance or broader financial services experience will be highly regarded.
