Instrumentation & Controls Designer

We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Designer to support the development of instrumentation design deliverables for a major industrial refining project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise instrumentation drawings and design documentation.
• Support instrument location plans, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, installation details, and related deliverables.
• Interpret P&IDs and engineering markups.
• Coordinate instrument locations and routing requirements with Piping, Electrical, Structural, and Process teams.
• Incorporate project specifications and engineering requirements into design documents.
• Participate in model/design reviews.
• Maintain drawing quality and project design standards.

Qualifications

• Instrumentation design experience in industrial/process facilities.
• Experience with refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, oil and gas, or EPC projects preferred.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and instrumentation documentation.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong CAD/design software capabilities.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston.
