Site Engineer (Setting Out)

FRS Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join an established construction contractor delivering a new residential development in Rosslare, Co. Wexford.

The project comprises 74 new homes, with works commencing shortly. Further projects are planned within the surrounding area thereafter, offering strong potential for long-term work locally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with strong setting out experience to join a well-established contractor and take a key role in the delivery of a substantial residential development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out across the residential development.
• Complete levels, measurements and site engineering checks.
• Work closely with Site Managers and project teams.
• Coordinate technical information, drawings and site requirements.
• Monitor works to ensure specifications are correctly followed.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and site documentation.
• Liaise with subcontractors throughout the construction programme.
• Support quality control and general project delivery requirements.

Requirements

• Previous Site Engineer experience within Irish or UK construction.
• Strong setting out experience on live construction projects.
• Total Stations and GPS experience are highly desirable.
• Relevant Civil Engineering or Construction qualification preferred.
• Residential construction experience would be a strong advantage.
• Confident interpreting drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Strong communication and site coordination skills required.
• Full driving licence required for the position.

Salary & Benefits

• €50,000 – €65,000 salary, depending on experience.
