Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining centres.
- Supervise and support a team of machinists during day shift operations.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are achieved.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient workshop environment.
- Assist with process improvements and workflow optimisation.
- CNC programming (preferred but not essential).
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, or the ability to step into a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining practices, tooling, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- CNC programming experience is highly regarded.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
