Estimator

I am currently partnering with a well-established commercial builder in Brisbane seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across commercial, education, industrial, health and mixed-use sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business known for delivering quality projects and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will be working closely with the Pre-Construction and Delivery teams, and will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions across a diverse range of commercial construction projects.

Key responsibilities: 

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender pricing
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Conducting quantity take-offs and subcontractor analysis
• Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing submissions
• Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities
• Assisting with tender presentations and bid submissions
• Collaborating with internal project teams throughout pre-construction

About You:

• Previous experience as an Estimator within commercial construction
• Strong understanding of local subcontractor and supplier markets
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Relevant construction qualifications preferred
