In this role, you'll help transform financial data into meaningful insights, support ongoing planning initiatives, and contribute to the accuracy of financial information used throughout the business. What You'll Do
- Prepare financial analyses to support business planning and operational performance
- Assist with monthly accounting activities, including recording transactions and maintaining supporting schedules
- Review financial data, identify trends, and investigate unusual variances
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives throughout the year
- Reconcile key accounts and ensure financial records remain complete and accurate
- Produce reports that help leadership evaluate business performance and make informed decisions
- Recommend improvements to financial processes, reporting methods, and internal controls
- Build strong relationships with colleagues across finance and operational teams to support organizational objectives
- Contribute to projects and other finance initiatives as business needs evolve
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Several years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or corporate finance
- CPA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset
- Solid understanding of financial reporting principles and general accounting processes
- Experience working with accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities while meeting deadlines
