Financial Analyst

A national organization in the healthcare sector is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its finance function. In this role, you'll help transform financial data into meaningful insights, support ongoing planning initiatives, and contribute to the accuracy of financial information used throughout the business. What You'll Do

• Prepare financial analyses to support business planning and operational performance
• Assist with monthly accounting activities, including recording transactions and maintaining supporting schedules
• Review financial data, identify trends, and investigate unusual variances
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives throughout the year
• Reconcile key accounts and ensure financial records remain complete and accurate
• Produce reports that help leadership evaluate business performance and make informed decisions
• Recommend improvements to financial processes, reporting methods, and internal controls
• Build strong relationships with colleagues across finance and operational teams to support organizational objectives
• Contribute to projects and other finance initiatives as business needs evolve

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Several years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or corporate finance
• CPA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset
• Solid understanding of financial reporting principles and general accounting processes
• Experience working with accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
