Microsoft Partner Alliance Manager

A growing digital consultancy operating at the intersection of technology delivery and strategic partnerships is looking for an experienced Microsoft Partner Alliance Manager to help strengthen key Microsoft relationships and support the successful delivery of complex programmes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing commercial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and operational delivery in fast-moving environments.

Role Overview:

• Location: Hybrid / UK-based
• Package: Outside IR35 | 6-Month Contract
• Industry: Technology Consulting / Digital Transformation / Microsoft Ecosystem

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Microsoft account teams, and strategic partners across multiple programmes.
• Oversee delivery performance against agreed KPIs, SLAs, budgets, and commercial objectives.
• Support the management of contracts, change controls, subcontractor activity, and Microsoft-aligned commercial frameworks.
• Lead governance meetings, service reviews, and reporting sessions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor delivery risks, resource challenges, and commercial opportunities, ensuring issues are identified and resolved early.
• Contribute to bids, proposals, and go-to-market activity with delivery insight, account intelligence, and resource planning support.
• Track programme financials including forecasting, burn rates, revenue performance, and cloud consumption metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement across client engagement, operational processes, and partnership performance.
• Coordinate closely with delivery and capability teams to maintain visibility of demand, resourcing, and programme priorities.

Main Skills Needed:

• Strong experience managing strategic client accounts and Microsoft partner relationships.
• Proven background in commercial, contract, or service delivery environments.
• Ability to manage governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement at senior level.
• Solid understanding of digital programme delivery across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience handling budgets, forecasting, revenue tracking, and commercial performance metrics.
• Comfortable working within Microsoft ecosystems, including cloud consumption models and licensing structures.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues within high-pressure delivery environments.
• Experience within regulated sectors such as Defence, Government, or Enterprise environments is highly beneficial.
