Financial Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a high-performing investment business based in Parnell for a 13-month maternity leave contract.
This is a broad, hands-on role where you’ll manage multiple entities and Limited Partnership funds, with exposure across financial reporting, compliance and investor reporting. If you’re looking for variety, you’ll find plenty of it here!

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing multiple companies and Limited Partnership funds
• Preparing quarterly financial accounts and liaising with external accountants
• Scheduling monthly AP and tax payments
• Preparing GST, RWT/NRWT, FATCA and CRS filings
• Debt reconciliations, loan schedules and cashflow forecasting
• Supporting annual fund audits and investor reporting
• Fund compliance, investor onboarding and share register management
• Assisting with process and Xero improvements
• Working to an established financial timetable and key reporting deadlines

You’ll be CA/CPA qualified, ideally with strong Xero and Excel skills, and confident managing multiple entities and competing priorities. Experience with Limited Partnership structures, fund accounting or private equity would be a real advantage.

You’ll enjoy being part of a small, close-knit team while also being comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership and keeping things moving when deadlines are tight.
