As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Senior Mobile App Developer to take ownership of their mobile platform and help shape the future of their product.

The Opportunity You'll join a small, highly skilled engineering team building an AI-powered platform that combines mobile technology, machine learning and computer vision to solve real problems for customers working in the field.

This is much more than feature development—you'll play a key role in the technical direction of the mobile platform, collaborating closely with Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive, reliable and scalable mobile experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of the mobile platform, including architecture, performance and reliability.
• Building and enhancing applications using React Native, while making informed decisions around native iOS and Android development where required.
• Designing robust offline-first functionality for users operating in low-connectivity environments.
• Optimising applications for performance, battery usage and device limitations.
• Managing the end-to-end mobile application lifecycle, from development through to App Store and Google Play releases.
• Collaborating closely with Product, Design, Data Science and Engineering teams.
• Integrating AI and Machine Learning capabilities into mobile applications.
• Driving engineering standards, best practices and continuous improvement across the mobile platform.

What We're Looking For You'll ideally bring:

• 8+ years' software development experience, including at least 5 years focused on mobile applications.
• Strong commercial React Native experience.
• Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimisation and scalability.
• Experience building and maintaining production mobile applications.
• Experience working with REST APIs and cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile testing practices.
• A product mindset and passion for building exceptional user experiences.

Highly regarded:

• Experience building offline-first mobile applications.
• Experience working in low-connectivity or field-based environments.
• Experience integrating AI or Machine Learning into mobile applications.
• Experience modernising or rebuilding mobile platforms.
