Warehouse Operative

Overview of Role: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our Warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring materials, products and components are efficiently received, stored and dispatched to meet production and customer needs. What you will do: • Goods receiving- checking, counting and putting away of stock • Picking and packing customer orders to agreed timeframes and other turnaround times. • Stock checks and cycle counting of products in the warehouse • Proactive approach to stock accuracy. • Keeping paperwork up to-date and keeping records of the stock. • Ensure safe and efficient handling of goods. • Ensure warehouse functioning and consolidation of goods. • Ensure that all freight is moved correctly to minimize misroutes. • Loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling and or forklift • Always follow health and safety procedures What we need from you: • 2+ years' experience in warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of inventory management systems. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Valid Forklift license • Willingness to be flexible and take on a variety of tasks. Work Environment: This job works in a manufacturing environment, using various manufacturing equipment. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand for the entire shift, as well as the ability to bend, twist, push, pull, grasp, The employee is regularly required to speak or hear.
