The Commercial Team has a vacancy for an Customer Executive. This position will be based at the Safresco Head Office in Walmer, Gqeberha.
This position will report to the Europe Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities for the position:
- Monitor, track, and follow up on the execution of client-agreed programs to ensure its fulfillment
- Handling customer concerns and providing information, answers, or feedback.
- Maintain and develop markets and customers through promotional, relationship and research actions.
- Prioritize and generate clients "Retailers" vs Traders / Wholesalers.
- Obtaining and correctly recording customer information.
- Reviewing and making changes to customer accounts.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Preparation of information to know the status of each pallet from the moment they are loaded and until their final settlement and / or sale.
- Analyse the expenses at destination for all operations.
- Monitoring of statistics, dashboards and estimates prepared by Business Intelligence.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing team in putting together supply plans and weekly price information.
- Track and control the status of the current accounts for commercial.
- Review the production orders loaded into the systems. Project future loads with planning team and follow up.
- Help with the preparation of the Commercial and Current Accounts management control reports, controlling daily and weekly the status of loads, expenses at destination, volumes, price estimates, etc.
- Control the loading by the temporary of the Customer Master, Material Master and Pricing DB databases
Additional skills required:
- Previous experience in the fresh produce export industry would be advantageous
- Intermediate excel skills is required.
- Fluent in business English, excellent written and communication skills required.
- Ability to multitask and work with customers and colleagues who are scattered across the globe.
- Ability to work as an individual as well as in a team context
