Shift: 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM until Finish (Overtime as Needed)

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced 2nd Shift Reach Truck Operators to join our fast-paced distribution center in Garland, TX. This position is responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve products while supporting warehouse operations through palletizing, order fulfillment, and inventory movement. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a productivity-driven warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a reach truck to transport, store, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse.
Pick and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Build and palletize orders according to company standards.
Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipping.
Load and unload product as needed.
Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning products and following warehouse procedures.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 1 year of recent reach truck operating experience.
Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
Ability to palletize products safely and efficiently.
Basic RF scanner or warehouse management system experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work at elevated heights while operating a reach truck.
Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed.
Work Environment

This position is performed in a distribution center where employees should be comfortable working in the following conditions:

Fast-paced, productivity-driven warehouse environment.
Moderate to high noise levels from warehouse equipment.
Frequent operation of powered industrial equipment.
Continuous lifting, palletizing, and material handling.
Temperature fluctuations depending on the season and warehouse conditions.
Schedule
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM until finish
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
