Core Personnel Staffing is hiring an experienced Assistant Controller for our client, a growing company with international operations in Fort Worth, TX. The role is onsite, temp-to-hire, and reports directly to senior finance leadership. It suits a hands-on accounting leader who likes owning the details and making the books run smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Cash and banking: Monitor bank activity, perform cash reconciliations, manage intercompany payments, and oversee petty cash and foreign currency transactions.

• Forecasting and reporting: Prepare and maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast, review lease accounting reports (IFRS 16), and track key operational KPIs.

• Revenue and order-to-cash: Manage order intake and project files, support percentage-of-completion revenue updates, and review orders and settlements for accuracy.

• Inventory and costing: Approve and investigate cycle counts, oversee physical inventory and standard costing, review obsolete inventory, and reconcile WIP.

• General ledger and compliance: Prepare and post journal entries and accrual true-ups, review sales tax, warranty reserves, and balance sheet accounts, complete parent-company reporting, and maintain internal controls and audit readiness.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (master's strongly preferred)

• 6+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 16 (Leases)

• Experience with foreign currency transactions and intercompany accounting

• Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP, Coupa, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage month-end, quarter-end, and forecast deadlines

• Comfort working with operations, supply chain, and sales teams
