6-Month Temporary Contract
$160k + super FTE
Immediate start
We're looking for an experienced project professional to join a well-known, growing multi-site business at a genuinely exciting point in its journey, right in the middle of a major integration and transformation program.
This isn't a role where you'll be managing process for the sake of it. You'll be at the centre of a live continuous improvement and strategic growth program, working across divisions to help bring two recently merged businesses together and drive a broader "always growing" strategic agenda. You'll have real visibility, real influence, and the chance to shape how change actually gets delivered.
What you'll be doing
- Project managing a portfolio of continuous improvement and strategic growth initiatives, including merger and integration work bringing divisions together
- Managing group-wide improvement projects as allocated through the PMO
- Building and running project schedules, budgets, and resourcing plans
- Leading program meetings, tracking actions, and keeping momentum across multiple workstreams
- Coaching and upskilling managers who are new to structured project delivery
- Partnering closely with senior leaders, including GM and Managing Director level stakeholders, to keep programs aligned to broader business goals
- Monitoring project spend and stepping in with corrective action when needed
- Preparing reporting and analysis for leadership and key stakeholders
What we're looking for
- Strong project or program management experience gained within complex, multi-site organisations
- Prior exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or business integration projects highly regarded
- PMO experience, or comfort operating within a structured project environment
- A natural relationship builder who can win credibility quickly with people at every level, from frontline managers to executives
- Someone hands-on and delivery-focused, happy to roll up their sleeves and help others get things done
- Resilience and adaptability; you're comfortable working through ambiguity and competing priorities
- Confidence using tools like Monday.com or similar platforms, plus strong Microsoft Office skills
Why this one's worth a look
You'll be joining at a pivotal moment, with the chance to leave a visible mark on how a growing organisation navigates change. It's a role that rewards people who are as good with stakeholders as they are with a project plan, and offers a genuine pathway to permanency for the right person.
Based in Sydney, with collaboration across teams in other states and occasional travel involved.
