Warehouse/Shipping Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse/Shipping Operator to join a busy production facility. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and shipping operations, including preparing finished products for shipment, loading and unloading materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare finished products and materials for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Move materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Verify quantities, labels, and shipping information for accuracy.
• Assist with receiving, staging, and organizing incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
• Inspect products and packaging for visible damage before shipment.
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and shipping area.
• Communicate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Perform additional warehouse and production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification may be required.
• Ability to read and understand basic shipping documents and instructions.
• Basic computer skills may be required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be dependable and have good attendance.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and lift.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to [XX] pounds.
• Ability to work around moving equipment and production machinery.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
