Plant Custodian 2nd shift

Pay: $19.00/ Hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Location: Casa Grande

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for cleaning production areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, and other facility spaces while supporting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove debris from floors and work areas.
• Empty trash, recycling, and scrap containers; dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, lockers, and other facility surfaces.
• Restock restroom, break room, and janitorial supplies as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of exterior areas, including entrances, sidewalks, and parking lots.
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuums, pressure washers, and other custodial tools.
• Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Support housekeeping initiatives and workplace organization programs.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules and maintain accurate cleaning records.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Follow all company safety policies, sanitation procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Assist with facility setup and cleanup for meetings, audits, inspections, and special events.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Support the Quality Manager, Lab Manager, Quality Supervisor, and other departments with related duties.
• Perform other duties as needed to support facility operations.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around cleaning chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
