Our client is a well established Christchurch-based manufacturing business with a strong reputation in their industry. With a large workforce and a fast paced operational environment, they are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the team on a temporary basis for approximately three months.
This is a hands on role where you will work closely with leaders across the business, providing practical HR support and advice while helping to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

This is a hands on role where you will work closely with leaders across the business, providing practical HR support and advice while helping to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
About the Role
Reporting into the HR team, you will be involved across a broad range of generalist HR responsibilities, including:
- Assisting with employee relations matters, performance management and workplace investigations
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities
- Ensuring HR processes, policies and documentation are maintained and compliant
- Updating the HRIS system with variations of contracts
- General ad-hoc administrative tasks where needed.
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or Senior HR Coordinator position
- Strong employment relations knowledge and confidence providing advice to leaders
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and work autonomously
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, logistics or operational environments would be advantageous
- Immediate start available
