About the Role:
The Project Manager will contribute to governance activities and respond to stakeholder and project‑related enquiries. Reporting to the Director, Major Projects and the Assistant Secretary, the role ensures consistent delivery against approved schedules and project documentation.
Primary Duties:
Location and Contract Term: This role is ACT based . Contract till 30 June 2027 with 2 x 12 - month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance

Primary Duties:
- Engaging with clients and internal technical and business teams to scope ICT infrastructure initiatives and develop clear, fit‑for‑purpose project plans and Statements of Work.
- Planning and delivering ICT infrastructure projects (including upgrades, enhancements, and remediation activities) aligned to roadmaps.
- Developing and maintaining detailed end‑to‑end project plans, from initiation through to implementation and go‑live, identifying critical paths and key dependencies.
- Actively monitoring, managing, and reporting on project progress, risks, issues, and outcomes.
- Identifying required technical and project resources, addressing capability gaps and coordinating specialist support as needed.
- Proactively identifying, managing, and escalating infrastructure risks and issues, ensuring appropriate governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborating with other project managers and technical leads to manage cross‑project and cross‑platform dependencies.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of project governance, delivery frameworks, and infrastructure capability.
- Resolving technical and delivery issues through informed analysis, option evaluation, and practical decision‑making.
