Apply directRegional Head of Financial Institution Sales – EMEA
Location: London. However, candidates based elsewhere in the UK or Europe will also be considered
The business is seeking a senior commercial leader to take ownership of Financial Institution sales and strategic partnerships across EMEA. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly autonomous, hands-on role for an established commercial operator who can bring a strong network and convert relationships into significant, long-term revenue opportunities.
This is not a high-volume or lead-generation-focused sales position. The successful candidate will originate, structure and close a small number of high-value partnerships across banking, payments, fintech, treasury services, cross-border FX and, potentially, digital assets.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the full commercial lifecycle, from origination and initial engagement through negotiation, implementation and revenue generation
- Build and convert a regional pipeline of large Financial Institution and B2B partnerships
- Develop senior relationships across banks, payment processors, fintechs, FX providers and large corporate treasury functions
- Present cross-border payments, FX and payment infrastructure solutions to C-suite stakeholders
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and structure tailored client propositions
- Work closely with Product, Risk, Compliance and Finance to bring partnerships live
- Take ownership of regional revenue, payment-volume and partnership-development targets
- Represent the business as a trusted adviser within the European payments and financial services ecosystem
The successful candidate will likely have:
- Significant senior-level experience in institutional sales, treasury sales, payments, banking, fintech or strategic partnerships
- A strong and demonstrable network across Financial Institutions, payments, fintech or corporate treasury
- A track record of personally originating and closing large, complex commercial partnerships
- Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, FX, treasury services or payment infrastructure
- Credibility when engaging and negotiating with CFOs, treasurers and other C-suite decision-makers
- The ability to operate independently and establish a regional commercial presence
- Exposure to stablecoins or digital assets would be beneficial but is not essential
This is initially a senior individual-contributor position, with the opportunity to play a central role in establishing and developing the organisation’s EMEA commercial presence.
