About the Opportunity:
- 3-4 days fieldwork, 1-2 days remote
- Shift: Monday to Friday
- Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM
- Hours: Full-time
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Prescribing and managing psychiatric medications
- Providing ongoing medication monitoring and follow-up
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary ACT team members
- Participating in daily team meetings and treatment planning
Qualifications:
- Experience in psychiatry and mental health services
- NY-licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Experience with serious mental illness and substance use disorders
- Competency in community-based treatment settings
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Teamwork and independent working ability
- Experience with ACT or community-based programs
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Strong clinical judgment
- Excellent communication skills
