Depalletizer- 3rd shift

Position Summary

The Depalletizer Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring depalletizing equipment to safely and efficiently remove products from pallets and feed them into the production line. This role ensures product quality, equipment performance, and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate depalletizing machinery and associated production equipment.
• Load pallets into the depalletizer and ensure proper alignment and product flow.
• Monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns before feeding them into production.
• Clear jams and troubleshoot routine equipment issues.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate production and downtime records.
• Follow all safety, GMP, quality, and company policies and procedures.
• Communicate equipment or production issues to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
• Assist with line changeovers and startup/shutdown procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating automated equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and equipment while following all safety procedures.
