Social Compliance Specialist
Overview
A leading international sourcing organisation is looking for a Responsible Sourcing & Social Compliance Specialist to strengthen its regional sourcing operations.
This role plays a key part in ensuring ethical sourcing, supplier compliance, and sustainable practices across global vendor networks. You will work closely with sourcing, merchandising, and external audit partners to uphold high standards in social compliance, labour practices, and responsible production.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute responsible sourcing programmes in collaboration with internal teams and third‑party partners
- Support vendor selection by assessing compliance risk and ethical standards
- Ensure suppliers comply with Code of Conduct, labour laws, and social responsibility requirements
- Coordinate and monitor social compliance audits with external audit bodies
- Review audit reports, identify non‑compliance issues, and drive corrective action plans
- Support investigations related to compliance violations and ethical concerns
- Maintain audit records, CAP tracking, and compliance documentation
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (sourcing, QA, regulatory) to drive continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Social Compliance / Responsible Sourcing within a buying office or sourcing organisation
- Strong knowledge of audit standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, SA8000, ICTI)
- Experience working with global vendors across Asia (e.g. China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam)
- Proven stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain practices
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
