This is a critical role within the group’s largest Intellectual Property (IP) and Inventory Hub, offering oversight across key Swiss and Singaporean entities.
This is not just a reporting role; it is a strategic position where you will act as a linchpin between global operations, manufacturing, and tax strategy, ensuring the financial integrity of a multi-billion-dollar supply chain.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Specialist - Controlling (Global IP & Inventory Hub):
- Strategic Controlling: Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Swiss GAAP for high-value IP and inventory entities
- Global Collaboration: Partner closely with regional hubs in Singapore and Global Delivery Centers in Lisbon and Kuala Lumpur to streamline financial deliverables
- Tax & Transfer Pricing: Work hand-in-hand with Tax and Treasury teams on income tax reporting, deferred tax calculations, and target profitability adjustments
- Process Innovation: Lead projects to simplify and automate accounting workflows using state-of-the-art financial tools (SAP S/4 HANA, Power BI)
- Audit & Compliance: Manage statutory ledgers and annual report preparation, serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external auditors
The Ideal Candidate:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with at least 8 years of experience in a complex corporate environment
- Deep technical proficiency in both US GAAP and Swiss GAAP is essential
- Advanced expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and Excel is required; experience with Power BI or Blackline is a significant advantage
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders across multiple time zones
- Resilient, out-of-the-box thinker who thrives with minimal guidance and high levels of accountability
