Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced contractor to contribute to high-impact infrastructure and cloud projects within a thriving engineering environment.

The role is a 12-month contract, with an immediate start, offering a flexible working arrangement.

As the selected candidate, you will:

• Lead the design, implementation, and operational handover of platform-related projects, focusing on automation and platform engineering.
• Drive infrastructure, cloud, and data remediation initiatives, with a strong emphasis on Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data management.
• Develop and implement solutions using Azure Cloud, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
• Support the automation-first approach by creating Infrastructure as Code and streamlining deployment processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to produce solution designs, technical documentation, and deliverables aligned with project goals.
• Ensure data security and compliance through effective PII remediation strategies, leveraging Microsoft Purview.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in Azure Cloud engineering and infrastructure design.
• Strong skills in Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
• Sound knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and automation practices.
• Hands-on experience with PII data remediation and Microsoft Purview.
• Adept project delivery skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed solution designs and technical documents.

It is desirable if you have:

• Experience across cloud, compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.
• Previous exposure to AI-related projects or tools.
• Certification or formal training in Azure or related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
