My client is looking to add an experienced Electrical Estimator to their existing, established team operating in major commercial construction environments across including mixed use towers, hotels, hospitals, retail, major fit out etc
The successful candidate will join a well-established, successful team & take up responsibility for liaising with clients and suppliers, completing tender reviews, procurement, general project design & estimation for an accurate scope of electrical works and be able to do so without the need for supervision.
You will have the ability to conduct independent research and have an existing, knowledge of the electrical industry, its standards, building codes and rules for electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates, quantities, prices and costings for various projects.
- Determine key variables for cost and other estimates and perform risk analysis.
- Gather first-hand info from sites
- Generate scope of works statements to define what works are included/excluded from estimates.
- Collate, Develop and Assemble relevant info pertinent to tender/proposal submissions including:
- Capability Statements
- Reverse Briefs
- Systems Topology Overviews and Design
- Company Information / Financials
- Tender Forms
- Compliance / Conformance Statements
- Create, present and submit estimate reports or bids to PM’s & clients
- Assist in the preparation of tech subs.
- Maintain cost database & technical knowledge.
- Understand project/program requirements
- Build relationships with key vendors
