Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, dispatch, stock rotation, and inventory control.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries to meet customer and business requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and manage regular stocktakes and cycle counts.
- Ensure all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched according to company standards.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Manage staff performance, provide coaching, and support ongoing development.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and safe work procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe equipment operation.
- Coordinate warehouse equipment maintenance with suppliers where required.
- Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness.
- Implement process improvements supporting operational growth and service excellence.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processes.
- Manage supplier relationships with professionalism and strong communication.
About You
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
