Job Summary

Voeller is seeking Service Technicians to support the rapid expansion of its service organization across multiple regional markets. This field-based role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and supporting concrete production equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently in the field. Whether coming from the concrete industry or another technical service environment, successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and the tools needed to build a successful career within a growing organization.

Reporting Structure

Reports To: Voeller Service Department Leadership

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Service & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues on customer equipment.
• Perform repairs and equipment replacements on concrete mixers, batching systems, and related equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance visits on assigned service routes.
• Support scale systems and work with Command Alkon software and controls.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.

Customer Support & Field Service

• Visit customer sites to service mixers, conveyors, batching equipment, and related systems.
• Coordinate service activities between customers and internal support teams.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive and professional service.
• Operate independently while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Operations & Safety

• Utilize company-provided service trucks, cranes, tooling, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of service work performed.
• Follow company safety standards and operational procedures.
• Support company growth through proactive customer engagement and service excellence.

Qualifications

Industry Experience

• Experience with concrete equipment, mixers, batching systems, conveyors, industrial maintenance, or mobile equipment service preferred.
• Industry-specific experience is beneficial but not required.
• Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic are encouraged to apply.

Education & Technical Skills

• Formal education not required.
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Hydraulic troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Technical service or maintenance experience preferred.
• OSHA or safety training is a plus.

Training & Development

• Ongoing technical development and support

Territory & Travel

• Home-based field service role
• Must reside within assigned territory
• Significant travel throughout territory required
• Frequent overnight travel
• Occasional weekend travel
• Remote when not traveling, but highly field-focused
