Design & Build are excited to be bringing to market a unique opportunity. We are currently representing a national builder as they begin building their first ever South Australia project team. With their first project coming up, a $300m build in the northern suburbs, they are seeking a Design Coordinator to support the project team. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Review contract and handover documentation from estimating department
  • Create projects scope for consultant engagement and design parameters
  • Co-ordinate design drawing reviews against contract scope of works
  • Compliance with TP pre-commencement conditions
  • Assessing RBS checklist for BP compliance
  • Shop drawing review and approval
  • Preparing project handovers between departments
  • Manage 6/7/8/9 process
  • Vetting quotes received
  • Take and distribute design meeting minutes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or any other relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' of experience in design or architecture within the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management and design software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
