You’ll own the order process from intake through internal routing, coordinating closely with Planning/Shipping while keeping customers informed on status, availability, and delivery timelines.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, and/or order entry (or similar)
- Experience with order entry / order processing in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to verify pricing, review credit status/terms, and catch inconsistencies
- Strong attention to detail (accurate data entry + organized documentation)
- Confident customer communication—email and phone—focused on resolution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong prioritization and follow-through while managing multiple orders at once
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience coordinating with shipping/logistics, planning, inventory, purchasing, or sales teams
- Familiarity with inventory availability concepts, sourcing options, and lead times
- Exposure to consignment inventory workflows
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required (additional education in business/customer service/supply chain is a plus)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in customer service, sales support, and/or order entry
Other Requirements
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and jumping in to support teammates during high volume, absences, or shifting priorities
- Able to maintain organized electronic records and document activity consistently (including calendar updates and confirmations)
Salary
