Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the Role

ValorC3 Data Centers is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to play a critical role in driving top-of-funnel growth and supporting executive-level selling initiatives. This is a marketing-aligned SDR role designed for a high-performing professional who thrives at the intersection of demand generation, events, executive engagement, and outbound prospecting.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Channel Partners, and Executive Leadership to generate qualified pipeline across targeted verticals and high-growth U.S. markets.

 

This position is ideal for someone who understands enterprise technology, enjoys high-touch engagement with senior stakeholders, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

 

Key Responsibilities


Lead Generation & Market Engagement

  • Execute outbound prospecting in support of executive and enterprise selling initiatives
  • Drive high-quality sales-qualified leads (SQLs) for regional sales teams
  • Support event-driven pipeline through pre-event outreach, onsite engagement, and post-event follow-up
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, workloads, competitive dynamics, and regional opportunities
  • Execute nurture programs to advance early-stage prospects and executive contacts


Executive Selling Support

  • Support senior leadership in high-touch programs such as CIO dinners, customer forums, and advisory boards
  • Conduct pre-meeting research, attendee qualification, and personalized follow-up
  • Assist in crafting targeted, executive-level outreach and messaging


Event Support & Activation

  • Support planning and execution for industry events including PTC, DCD, ITW, Interface, and regional technology programs
  • Drive meeting scheduling and executive briefings through pre-event outreach
  • Capture insights, leads, and competitive intelligence during events
  • Identify new regional, industry, and association-based engagement opportunities


Marketing Collaboration & Campaign Execution

  • Execute outreach and follow-up across integrated campaigns (content, paid media, SEO, virtual events)
  • Report on lead quality, campaign impact, and nurture performance
  • Provide field feedback on messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation
  • Support digital presence and social selling initiatives


Sales & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales to refine ICPs, vertical targets, and account lists
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and qualification discussions
  • Support Channel and Alliance partners including brokers, MSPs, TSDs, and technology alliances

 

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in an SDR or market development role supporting strategic or enterprise accounts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Proven success with outbound engagement, lead qualification, and pipeline contribution
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology, cloud, colocation, and network infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills with both executive and technical audiences
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM/marketing automation tools
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence, research platforms, or SEO/SEM tools
  • Ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations and materials
  • Knowledge of AI/ML workloads, cloud expansion, compliance, and hybrid IT environments
  • Experience supporting industry events and executive programs
  • Strong self-starter with a “hunter” mentality
