Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented Keyence Operator for a leading spring and coil manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating Keyence vision measurement equipment to inspect manufactured parts, verify product quality, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate Keyence vision inspection and measurement systems to perform dimensional and visual inspections on springs, wire forms, and coil products.
- Verify product specifications using blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Program, adjust, and troubleshoot Keyence measurement equipment as required.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Identify and report non-conforming products and assist in root cause investigations.
- Work closely with machine operators, setup technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment according to company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating Keyence vision systems a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or metal forming environments strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T preferred.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate inspection equipment and handle
