About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Representative/Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong industry connections and knowledge of the construction sector who is looking to advance into a leadership position within our commercial sales team (currently 4-5 members). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue, building lasting customer relationships, and contributing to the company’s long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors (self-performing & non-self-performing) and concrete subcontractors.
- Manage sales across a 30–50-mile radius around the Twin Cities, with occasional overnight travel beyond that area to support larger projects.
- Handle projects of all sizes, from small-scale builds (e.g., gas station additions) to large-scale commercial developments (e.g., 40-story metro buildings).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
- Work within our clients structured selling system, leveraging sales strategies to maximize customer engagement and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including dispatch, engineering, logistics, and supply to ensure smooth project execution.
- Serve as a key resource for colleagues and clients, providing industry insights and expertise.
- Bid on individual projects in outlying areas and contribute to company-wide sales efforts.
