Yoh is hiring an Aseptic Technician I for our client. In this role, you will support daily aseptic manufacturing operations in a regulated biotechnology production environment. This position involves bulk formulation, filling, packaging, environmental monitoring, cleanroom operations, and GMP documentation while working as part of a hands-on manufacturing team.

Job Functions
• Support routine bulk formulation, filling, and packaging of regulated media or solution-based products.
• Disinfect and transfer materials and equipment into cleanroom areas for production.
• Work in cleanroom suites while standing for several hours at a time.
• Perform environmental monitoring in accordance with established procedures.
• Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials to ensure batches contain proper ingredients and quantities.
• Aseptically fill solutions into finished product containers under sterile conditions.
• Wash labware used in regulated manufacturing operations.
• Clean manufacturing equipment and classified cleanroom areas, including ceilings, walls, critical surfaces, and floors.
• Perform repetitive tasks while fully gowned, including hood, mask, coveralls, boots, and gloves.
• Operate manufacturing and laboratory equipment such as balances, volumetric glassware, peristaltic pumps, filters, pH meters, and pipettes.
• Follow SOPs, batch records, safety policies, and quality system requirements.
• Accurately complete batch records, logbook entries, and GMP documentation.
• Support preventive maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with root cause investigations related to quality issues.
• Support batch record and SOP revisions as needed.
• Identify and support process improvement opportunities.
• Perform real-time review of production records to ensure documentation is completed accurately and in real time.
• Support other projects and duties as assigned.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for equipment monitoring.
• May occasionally work weekends and overtime as needed.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree; or Associate degree / biotechnology certificate with 1 year of relevant experience; or High school diploma / GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with aseptic processing in a cGMP or FDA-regulated environment is preferred.
• Prior cleanroom gowning experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S principles is preferred.
• Degree in a science-related field with an interest in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred.
• Self-motivated and willing to support temporary responsibilities outside of normal job duties.
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities.
• Ability to perform fast-paced operations and multi-step tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively while wearing cleanroom gowning.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be able to meet aseptic gowning qualification requirements.
• Must be comfortable working regularly with cleaning and sanitizing agents.
Physical Job Requirements
• Cleanroom manufacturing environment, onsite.
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time while working in cleanroom suites.
• Ability to wear full cleanroom gowning, including hood, mask, coveralls, boots, and gloves.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while fully gowned.
• Must not have unusual sensitivity to typical laboratory chemicals, including sanitization agents.
• Ability to work regularly with cleaners and sanitizing agents.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull up to 1,200 pounds with assistance.
• May be required to work day or evening shift as needed.
• May occasionally be required to work weekends and overtime.
