• 5 years of experience in fire alarm industry
• FASA/BASA and/or minimum NICET I certification, both, or the ability to achieve FASA within 5 days of starting
• Strong knowledge of and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various fire alarm manufacturers
• Familiar with NFPA and IBC requirements
• Pass drug screen for employment and random testing as required
• Pass SLED background check
• Driver’s license and dependable transportation to/from work
• Work well unsupervised and be able to schedule service calls independently
• Good customer communication skills
• Willing to travel within the state on workdays, after hours, on-call hours or overnight as needed
• Some out of town training may be needed for manufacturer certifications
• CCTV, voice and data cabling experience a plus
• Training certificates on Siemens or Edwards systems a plus
