ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join a team of industry professionals within a Sydney Local Council as a Development Enquiry Officer. Play a pivotal role to assist with reviewing planning matters requiring high level problem solving skills and exceptional communication skills.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
6 month contract. Report to the Coordinator. In this position, you will manage the planning portal, review the Development Applications (DAs) and respond to initial enquiries prior to lodgement. You will also be communicating closely with various other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

- Pre-lodgment reviews of all developments
- Address any issues with the proposal before lodgement
- Provide timely and accurate verbal and written planning advice
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Planning or related qualification
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously
