Paediatric Occupational Therapist

MAYDAY Healthcare is partnering with a growing paediatric allied health practice to find an experienced Occupational Therapist who is ready to take ownership of their caseload, work autonomously and play a genuine role in shaping the future of a growing business.

The Role
Working approximately 3 days per week, you’ll independently manage your own paediatric caseload across Marsden Park, Box Hill and surrounding suburbs.
You’ll be trusted to manage your own:

• Calendar and appointments
• Client communication
• Clinical documentation
• Assessments and reports
• Therapy planning
• Relationships with families and other professionals

Your Clients
The caseload is predominantly children aged approximately 2.5–13 years, with a strong focus on neurodivergent and autistic children.
You’ll support clients across areas including:

• Autism and neurodivergence
• Developmental delay
• ADHD
• Sensory regulation
• Emotional regulation
• Fine and gross motor development
• Self-care and daily living skills
• Functional and developmental assessments

You’ll also work alongside Speech Pathologists, Behavioural Therapists, Paediatricians, educators and other allied health professionals.

About You
We’re looking for a Paediatric OT who is clinically confident and genuinely enjoys having autonomy.
Ideally, you’ll bring:

• 3–5+ years of paediatric OT experience
• Current AHPRA registration
• Strong autism/neurodivergent experience
• Confidence managing an independent caseload
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Excellent family and stakeholder communication
• Strong organisation and follow-through
• A warm, empathetic and family-centred approach
• Comfort working independently in the community
• Current driver's licence and access to a suitable vehicle
• Current NSW Working With Children Check
• National Police Check
• First Aid and CPR certification
• NDIS experience highly regarded
