Clarity Partners is seeking an experienced Account Executive – SME to join a well-established insurance brokerage in Perth CBD. This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own portfolio of SME clients while working within a collaborative and supportive team.
A newly created opportunity has become available for an Account Executive – SME to manage a small portfolio of commercial clients, due to organic business growth over the last financial year.
Working across a diverse range of industries, you'll take ownership of the client relationship from end to end, providing expert advice, coordinating renewals, preparing quotations, and ensuring clients receive outstanding service throughout the policy lifecycle. You'll also benefit from dedicated administrative support and ongoing mentorship from an experienced leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an established SME commercial portfolio valued at approximately $300K in annual income.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing trusted insurance advice and exceptional service.
- Manage the full insurance cycle, including renewals, endorsements, new business, quotations, claims support, and policy administration.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client portfolios through cross-selling and upselling where appropriate.
- Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive coverage and pricing outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the internal support team responsible for pre-renewals, debtor management, and quoting assistance.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Deliver timely, professional communication while maintaining a high standard of client care.

About You
Ideally, you'll have:
- 1–2 years' experience in insurance broking either as an assistant looking to step up or as an existing Account Executive running your own renewals end to end.
- An understanding of SME insurance products, including motor, plant and equipment, and general commercial risks.
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or a willingness to obtain it in the near future.
- Strong communication skills and a care for high-level service.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A team player attitude and a desire to work in a collaborative environment.
