Due to ongoing growth, we're seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy Richlands manufacturing facility.
Working primarily with steel roofing, walling products and sheet metal materials, you'll play a key role in loading, unloading, moving stock, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts to move steel coils, sheet metal and finished products
- Loading and unloading trucks with steel and oversized materials
- Assisting production by moving materials to and from machinery
- Securing loads with strapping and load restraints
- Loading steel coils onto production equipment
- Operating gantry cranes, with training provided
- Working with production and dispatch teams to meet daily targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, transport, warehouse, yard, or steel environments
- Experience handling long-length, oversized, or awkward loads
- Knowledge of load restraint and safe loading practices
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on duties
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to day shift work
