We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a subcontractor delivering works on one of Australia's most significant renewable energy projects.

About the role:

Acting as the technical bridge between engineering and on-site execution, you will play a key role in ensuring mechanical work packages are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. You'll work closely with design, construction, procurement, and commercial teams across a fast-paced and complex project environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of construction programs, track daily progress, and manage resource allocation across mechanical work packages.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and erection docs to guide on-site work
  • Plan labour, tools and materials for installation activities
  • Manage procurement, budgets and cost efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the client to resolve issues
About you:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5-8 years' project engineering experience on large infrastructure or energy projects
  • Confident reading technical drawings and understanding mechanical installation scope
  • Ready to commit to a 5:2 roster or relocate to rural NSW
