Are you an experienced HVAC Draftsperson looking for the opportunity to take ownership of your own projects while playing a key role in the growth of a close-knit technical team?
I'm partnering with a well-established mechanical services contractor that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality HVAC design and installation projects across Sydney. Their portfolio spans commercial offices, retail developments, hospitality venues, and refurbishment projects, with a consistent pipeline of repeat business from long-term clients.
With continued growth, they're looking to expand their internal drafting capability and are seeking an experienced Mechanical (HVAC) Draftsperson who can confidently work independently, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and produce high-quality BIM models and construction documentation from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate Mechanical Services drawings and Revit models for commercial, retail and hospitality HVAC projects.
• Complete BIM coordination with other building services and construction disciplines, resolving clashes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings and as-built documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements and construction programmes.
• Manage your own drafting workload across multiple projects while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical (HVAC) Draftsperson within the building services industry.
• Strong proficiency using Revit and BIM, including multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to independently manage drafting packages from design through to construction.
• Solid understanding of Australian mechanical services standards, construction methodology and HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
