About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 11am to 7pm
- Setting: On-site outpatient setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including review of psychiatric, substance use, and medical history
- Provide medication management and follow-up visits for patients receiving behavioral health care
- Assess symptoms, risk factors, and level of care needs, including crisis evaluations when needed
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, psychiatrists, and clinical leadership on treatment planning and care coordination
- Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and medication updates accurately in the EMR
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Active NYS Nurse Practitioner license
- Outpatient Behavioral Health or Psychiatry experience
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- AccuMED EMR experience
- Experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Strong medication management and risk assessment skills
