Quality Control Manager

The successful candidate will be an experienced construction Quality Control Manager with a strong understanding of federal project requirements and site-based quality assurance.

Essential requirements:

• Current U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification.
• Approximately 10 years of construction industry experience.
• At least five years of experience working as a Quality Control Manager.
• Experience delivering federal or USACE-governed construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, submittals and inspection procedures.
• Ability to produce clear, detailed and accurate quality-control reports.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Willingness and ability to work full-time onsite in Virginia Beach.

A four-year degree in one of the following, or a closely related discipline, is required:

• Engineering
• Architecture
• Construction Management
• Engineering Technology
• Building Construction
