About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Business Intelligence Specialists to support the implementation of a production-ready Qlik Cloud environment.
This role will focus on migrating existing Qlik applications from on-premise infrastructure to Qlik Cloud, replacing legacy reporting solutions, implementing governance frameworks and ensuring a smooth transition to business-as-usual support.
You will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams and business users to deliver robust, scalable and user-friendly analytics solutions while ensuring adherence to governance, security and data management standards.

Responsibilities
Application Migration

• Migrate and enhance existing Qlik data models.
• Migrate in-scope Qlik Sense applications from on-premise environments to Qlik Cloud.
• Validate application functionality, performance and data integrity following migration.
• Identify and implement opportunities for dashboard and reporting improvements.

Platform Capability Replacement

• Replace legacy Qlik nPrinting reports with equivalent Qlik Cloud reporting solutions.
• Configure and implement equivalent GeoAnalytics functionality within Qlik Cloud.
• Ensure reporting outputs meet business and operational requirements.

Governance Implementation

• Define and implement change and release management processes.
• Implement agreed role-based access control models.
• Configure audit logging, monitoring and governance capabilities.
• Support the establishment of sustainable platform management practices.

Standards and Documentation

• Develop and maintain development standards and naming conventions.
• Define data model and dashboard design standards.
• Produce administration runbooks, technical documentation and support materials.
• Ensure solutions are documented to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

Training and Transition

• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for users.
• Prepare administrator training and handover documentation.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer activities to support transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Support business ownership and long-term platform sustainability.

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience delivering enterprise business intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Strong expertise in developing interactive Qlik dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into meaningful insights for audiences with varying levels of data literacy.
• Experience working within structured project delivery and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications
Essential

• Demonstrated experience developing interactive Qlik dashboards and reports.
• Proven experience designing and implementing physical data models in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong data communication skills, including presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, the sensitivities associated with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander data and the ability to manage and communicate such information respectfully and appropriately.

Desirable

• Experience administering Qlik Cloud tenants, including management of spaces, roles and access permissions.
• Experience using Qlik Automate, including automation workflows, notifications, integrations and webhooks.
• Experience implementing governance, audit and monitoring capabilities in cloud-based BI environments.
• Experience delivering training, documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
• Exposure to large-scale data migration and platform modernisation projects.

What's on Offer

• 12 month contract role with 2 x 12 month extensions
• Hourly rate $140.00 - $160.00 per hour

• Applicants must be Australian citizens.
• Candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment screening checks.
• The successful candidate must obtain a NV1 Security clearance. Candidates with a baseline may be considered.
