Ethos BeathChapman is partnering with a large Utilities organisation to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to support the delivery of major capital projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned contracts professional with a strong background in construction, infrastructure and major project delivery to lead commercial and contract management activities across a high-profile project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the key commercial and contract management lead across major projects
  • Manage contract development, implementation and administration activities
  • Lead commercial negotiations and support procurement transactions
  • Oversee contract variations, compensation events and commercial risk management
  • Support project teams through contract execution, delivery and close-out
  • Manage supplier and contractor relationships to achieve project outcomes
  • Provide commercial advice to project stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Drive contract governance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • Extensive experience in contract and commercial management within major infrastructure or construction projects
  • Strong understanding of contract negotiation, administration and dispute avoidance
  • Experience working across complex procurement and project delivery environments
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and risk management capability
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Construction Law, Business or a related discipline
Highly Regarded
  • Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction contractors
  • Client-side infrastructure project experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale capital works programs
