Regional Sourcing Manager (Contract Manufacturer)

Our client is a global industrial manufacturing firm, with operations and commercial teams across Asia Pacific, EMEA and the Americas. The business is growing steadily year on year and this is their first regional sourcing role in APAC - a greenfield mandate covering the firm's contract manufacturer relationships across the region.
 
Your first priority is consolidation: rationalising suppliers across categories, aggregating regional demand, negotiating for total value, and building strategic partnerships with the suppliers you keep. From there, you will build out new product sourcing, closing portfolio gaps identified by commercial teams, managing product certifications for regional launch, and creating the supplier onboarding processes that get products to market faster. Working alongside Sales, Product Management and Supply Chain, your end goal is a more streamlined portfolio that will bring the procurement strategy to the next level.
 
You bring at least 10 years of category management and procurement strategy experience partnering with third-party and contract manufacturers, ideally across China and India. You have strong commercial negotiation skills and comfort with ambiguity. You are effective in a lean set-up, working directly with senior leadership, commercial and operational stakeholders.
