Position Summary

Nesco Resource s is seeking a motivated  Day Shift Assistant Operator to support production operations within the (NP) department. This position assists machine operators in maintaining efficient production, ensuring product quality, and supporting a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist operators with machine setup, operation, and changeovers.
  • Monitor production processes and help maintain product quality standards.
  • Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines.
  • Perform routine quality checks and report any defects or process concerns.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized following 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with troubleshooting minor equipment issues and notify supervisors of major concerns.
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
  • Support production goals by working effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work around moving machinery and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule

Night Shift
12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-4 schedule) as assigned.
6:45 PM - 7AM

Pay Rate

$21.00/hr
